Hey Ladies!

I hope everyone had a wonderful and lovely Valentine's Day! Did anyone buy any extra special gift for their sweetheart? Or better yet, did anyone GET anything super fancy from their Valentine? Feel free to send me comments about your romantic presents or adventures. I love hearing about them! My husband and I decided to wait to celebrate till the weekend, but he still remembered to have a bouquet of flowers sent to our house. I was thoroughly impressed that he didn't end up waiting until the last minute.

Anyway, if you ladies are celebrating Valentine's Day late or President's Day early and going to be out and about, I have some great sales and new stores to tell you about at Woodburn. I just talked to one of my girlfriends and she gave me the scoop on what's going on. Starting today and lasting till the 18th are huge sales and discounts happening for President's Day weekend. Here are just a few examples: Converse is offering a $14.99 footwear blowout sale (select styles) and 20% off all apparel; Helly Hansen has 20-70% off outlet prices on select winter apparel and all shoes: buy one, get one free; Le Creuset has 20% off all Le Creuset & Screwpull brand items (some new items may be excluded from discount); and Zales Outlet is offering 20-70% off plus 10-15% off traditional retail value. Right now is the perfect time to snag all the great deals on winter wear because even though all the retail stores are bringing in Spring clothes, there's no way us "Pacific Northwesterners" can wear them until May. Plus, saving on the kids clothes is great since they out grow them so quickly!

Last, but not least, there's also some great stores that have opened or are going to be opening over the next few months. Right now, the new CAbi Factory Store is open and offering a lot of great sales this weekend too. They have 50% of all sweaters which is perfect for the arctic cold that's coming next week! Also, ecko unltd. will be opening March. 14th and Ann Taylor Factory Store will be open April 5th. I am extremely excited for the Ann Taylor store because I love how their wide legged pants fit. So comfortable! And I know ecko unltd. has a variety of the hippest clothes on the scene today. I have a nephew that has told me all about it.
