Hey, Ladies!
       Welcome to the warm, or should I say HOT, weather for the weekend! Sounds like we'll soon be breaking some record heat over the next few days, which means cool conditions are a must. The kids have already managed to drag out the small pool and the Slip & Slide in preparation of keeping nice and cool. If it gets too warm, I may just have to join them! But besides wading in a pool and eating a mass amount of popcicles, I have another little trick up my sleeve in order to stay cool. On Sunday, my Mother-in-Law and I are escaping down to Woodburn Company Stores to get a start on our summer shopping. Since the kids are growing machines, this will give me a chance to stock up on things like flip flops, shorts, and bathing suits for the summer. I also need to find some new sandals for the hubby and thankfully, I can always find something that I like. Definitely not hard to shop for myself! The best part is that I can still enjoy the sun since the stores are outside, but once I'm in the stores, I can cool down a bit from the A.C. SO much better than being indoors all day in an over crowded mall. It's not often that Portland gets this warm, so its great when you can take advantage of it and still get your summer shopping out of the way. Oh, and did I mention that CAbi has a coupon for buy one, get one free (limit one)?
