So it’s official, summer is coming to a close. Pre-season football has begun, school starts on Tuesday, and I swear I saw a few leaves already turning colors. But as sad as I am to see the great summer weather and events leave, I'm ready for fall. The crisp air, the kids back in school, and all the great fashions, how can you not want it to arrive? The store windows are already filled with jewel-toned fall lines...deep purples, jade greens, ruby reds, and of course rich browns and blacks to offset them. And boots! So many to choose from.
And besides the arrival of fall, Woodburn Company Stores announced last week two new stores that will be opening in 2009. That's right, J.Crew and Kenneth Cole Company Store are finally coming to Oregon and I am so excited! I didn't even know J.Crew had outlets, so I feel like Christmas came early this year. I love J.Crew's clothes and Kenneth Cole's purses are to die for (and last forever). I'll be sure to keep all of you posted on the progress of those stores and any more that I hear of opening.
